HearSpeak LLC ("HearSpeak," "we," "us") operates hearspeak.io. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it simple because we collect very little.

Information we collect

• Email address — only if you choose to join our mailing list. We use it to send updates about new lessons and features. Nothing else.
• Basic usage data — our hosting provider (Netlify) may log standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, which is used for security and performance. We do not use this to identify you.
• Analytics data — we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (pages visited, approximate location, device type, and how you found us). Google Analytics uses cookies to do this. We have configured it with IP anonymization enabled and ad-personalization signals disabled, and we do not use this data to identify individual visitors.

Our practice games (flashcards, quizzes, word search) run entirely in your browser. Your scores and progress are not sent to us or stored on our servers.

What we don't do

• We don't sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing.
• We don't run third-party advertising on this site.
• We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Third-party services

Our site loads fonts from Google Fonts, uses Google Analytics as described above, and may link to external platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and X. Those services have their own privacy policies, which apply when you use them. You can learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and you can opt out of Google Analytics entirely with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Cookies

The only cookies our site sets are those used by Google Analytics for the measurement described above. Our practice games do not use cookies, and we set no advertising cookies. You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings — the site works fully without them.

Emails

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email us at any time to be removed from the list.

Data retention & your rights

We keep your email only for as long as you're subscribed. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. We'll respond within a reasonable time.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll update this page and the date above.
